Upcoming STRIVE HIGH Workshops!!

We are excited to announce the first two of many workshops in 2011. As with previous workshops, spaces are extremely limited so please make sure you book early on to secure your child's spot in the group.

Strive High Workshop Details:

 Age Groups:

  • Group A (Children in Year 5 and Year 6),
  • Group B (Adolescents in Year 7 and Year 8)

Time: 4pm - 6pm

Dates (5 Week Program):

  • Group A: Monday 7th March, Monday 14th March, Monday 21st March, Monday 28th March, Monday 4th April
  • Group B: Wednesday 9th March, Wednesday 16th March, Wednesday 23rd March, Wednesday 30th March, Wednesday 6th April

Sydney Location: Hurstville or Roselands Office (address to be confirmed upon enrolment)

Cost: $330 ($30 per hour x 10 hours + GST) which includes:

  • Activity worksheets, materials and artwork provided for children/adolescents.
  • Parent information pack exploring developmental concepts and strategies.
  • Individualised report detailing child/adolescent observations and performance during workshop.
  • All resources and materials are provided. 

Content: 

  • Learning to CHALLENGE NEGATIVITY and COPE with stressful situations.
  • Identifying and celebrating individual strengths to build CONFIDENCE and SELF ESTEEM.
  • Developing communication, perspective taking and empathy skills to encourage HEALTHY SOCIAL RELATIONSHIPS.
  • Establishing short and long term GOALS to build motivation and gain a sense of PURPOSE and MEANING.
  • Enhancing PROBLEM SOLVING and DECISION MAKING skills.
  • Teaching proactive ANTI-BULLYING STRATEGIES to minimise playground and cyber bullying.
